Configure complex products in seconds
A sofa with 50 fabrics, 8 leg types, 12 arm variants and 6 seat sizes gives 28,800 combinations. The product configurator works through every one of them without error, including volume pricing and surcharges for custom sizes.
Experience the power of our configurator
This is the same logic your salespeople use. Pick a product type, walk through the steps and watch the model and the price move with you. Combinations your supplier does not make cannot be selected.

Calculate your floor
A custom quote takes hours today.
Soon eight minutes.
Without a configurator
Catalogues, price lists and Excel
45 minutes per complex quote
Looking up fabric codes, counting surcharges and adding up extras by hand.
Errors from retyping
A wrong fabric code or size only surfaces on delivery, and by then it costs money.
Outdated prices
Price lists are out of date before they are even entered, so margin leaks away.
Impossible combinations sold
Afterwards the supplier turns out not to make that combination and you have to go back to the customer.
With the product configurator
One configuration line, always correct
8 minutes per complex quote
Walk through the steps and the price adds itself up, including surcharges and volume pricing.
Validation while you configure
Dependencies block combinations your supplier does not make.
Prices from Live Articles
Fabric groups and surcharges come straight from your supplier.
Flawlessly through to purchasing
The full configuration carries over into the purchase order, with no retyping.
The product configurator is brilliant. Our sales team now creates error-free quotes in a fraction of the time.
What the home furnishing industry uses the configurator for
Every product group has its own calculation rules. They are built in as standard, so nothing has to be programmed for you.
Seating
Fabric, legs, armrests and seat comfort in one line, with surcharges per fabric group.
Window coverings
Width times height per unit, with minimum sizes, coupled rails and an installation surcharge.
View
Beds and box springs
Mattress group, headboard, legs and electric adjustment as dependent choices.
Made-to-measure tables
Top size, thickness, edge finish and base, with volume pricing per linear metre.
Cabinet systems
Stack modules into a wall unit, with the configurator checking which sizes fit together.
Flooring
Square metres including cutting waste, underlay and skirting in the same configuration line.
This is what it looks like in LogicTrade
The configurator sits inside the quote itself, fed by your suppliers' product data.
Configuring inside the quote
The salesperson walks through the steps in the quote line itself. Every choice instantly recalculates the sales price, the purchase price and the margin, so you know during the conversation what is left at the bottom line.
Powered by Live Articles
Fabric groups, surcharges and lead times come straight from your supplier's catalogue. If a price list changes there, the configurator calculates with the new prices from that moment on. No import, no retyping.
From setting up a configuration to ordering from your supplier
We set the configurations up together with you during implementation. After that you manage them yourself.
Set up steps and value groups
For each model you define the configuration steps and their possible values, bundled into value groups such as fabric groups. Dependencies make sure only valid combinations remain.
Configurations that connect to 16 suppliers
For brands such as Vadain, Hunter Douglas, Habufa and Toppoint the configuration runs on the supplier's own product data. That keeps fabric groups, sizing rules and surcharges correct.
Works together with the rest of the platform
The configurator never stands alone. What you put together flows on into the quote, the purchase order and the planning.

Frequently asked questions about the product configurator
From dependencies and volume pricing to connections with your supplier.
A product configurator lets you put a product together from options such as model, fabric, legs and size, and calculates the right price and lead time as you go. In the home furnishing industry that is essential, because a single sofa model easily has tens of thousands of valid combinations. LogicTrade works through those combinations inside the quote itself.
A 3D product configurator shows the customer the product while they put it together. Pick a different fabric, leg or size and the 3D model updates straight away. In LogicTrade that 3D model runs on the same configuration rules as the quote, so what the customer sees on screen is exactly what you sell and what you order from your supplier.
You define dependencies per option. If the salesperson picks a corner sofa, the fabrics and finishes the supplier does not make in that model disappear. That way you never sell a combination that turns out not to be available.
Yes. You work with price blocks for volume pricing, a price matrix for width times height, and formulas for made-to-measure work. There is an expression builder for those formulas, so you define the calculation rule without programming. Minimum sizes and surcharges for non-standard dimensions are simply part of it.
No. You set a configuration up once and save it as a configuration template. You apply that template to a whole article group, for example all sofas from one supplier. If the setup changes, you adjust the template instead of every article separately.
From your own price lists through an Excel import, or straight from Live Articles. In that second case fabric groups, surcharges and lead times come in from your supplier and the configurator always calculates with current prices.
Yes. All chosen options carry over into the purchase order, in the format your supplier expects. For brands with their own configuration connection, such as Vadain, Hunter Douglas, Habufa and Toppoint, the configuration is passed on directly.
Yes. With SalesAssist you configure on tablet or laptop, on the shop floor and at the customer’s home. The quote that comes out of it is the same one you get at the office.
The product configurator is included in LogicTrade from the Basic package onwards, from 239 euro per month. We set your first configurations up together during implementation.
