4 lines spread over 3 purchase orders
Stay on top of your orders
A home furnishing order runs through three or four suppliers, each with its own lead time. LogicTrade turns it into purchase orders automatically, tracks where each line stands, and brings them back together on delivery into one appointment with the customer.
Follow one order through the system
Four lines, three suppliers, one order. Click through the steps and watch what happens to those same four lines: they group themselves per supplier, their status changes, and one supplier confirms a week later than requested.
The quote was accepted and is now an order. Four lines, three suppliers, each with its own lead time.
With LogicTrade we finally have control over our inventory and orders. It saves us an enormous amount of time.
Today the order lives in your head and your inbox.
Soon in one file.
Without order management
Inbox, Excel and ringing round
Phoning to find out where it is
The status sits with the supplier, not with you. Every answer costs a phone call or an email.
Retyping orders
Sizes, fabric codes and quantities go by hand from the quote into the order email. That is exactly where the errors creep in.
Goods nobody misses
A part delivery sits in the warehouse without sales knowing, so the customer is waiting for something that is already there.
Order history lost
What was agreed with this customer last year is in a folder, an inbox and someone's memory.
With LogicTrade Order management
One file per order, down to the line
Purchase orders roll out of the order
The lines are grouped per supplier and go out digitally, with the configuration attached.
Every line carries its own status
In progress, ordered, ready for delivery, in transit, delivered. You see it without phoning.
A different confirmation stands out
If the supplier confirms a different week, it shows on the order line instead of in an inbox.
Delivery is attached to the order
You plan delivery and fitting from the order file, so your delivery team sees the same lines.
This is what it looks like in LogicTrade
Three moments from the same order: splitting it, monitoring it and delivering it.
The order splits itself into purchase orders
As soon as the customer agrees, LogicTrade groups the order lines per supplier into purchase orders. With connected suppliers that order goes into their own system digitally, including the sizes and options from the configurator. The rest goes out as a PDF by email from the same screen.
See where every line stands
An order is rarely complete in one go. That is why the status is attached to the line and not to the order: in progress, ordered from supplier, ready for delivery, in transit, delivered. What has arrived moves on to planning, what is still outstanding stays visible against its own purchase order.
Delivery and fitting are on the order
You plan the delivery appointment from the order file onto a route and a day. Your delivery team works with the same lines, gets a digital signature from the customer, and on the day itself the customer tracks where the van is.
From approval to completed order
The same five steps as in the demo above, now with what happens behind the scenes.
Order digitally from 40 suppliers
With brands such as Hunter Douglas, JAB Anstoetz, Habufa and Jasno the purchase order goes straight into their system. Their confirmation with order number and lead time comes back the same way onto your order line.
Works together with the rest of the platform
Order management is the hinge. What happens before it comes in, what comes after goes out, with no step in between.

Frequently asked questions about order management
From digital ordering and part deliveries to the status your customer can track themselves.
Order management watches over the whole journey from an accepted quote to a delivered order. In the home furnishing industry that means splitting the order into purchase orders per supplier, tracking where each line stands, booking in the receipt and planning the delivery. In LogicTrade that happens in one file, so sales, purchasing and the warehouse are looking at the same screen.
From the order you generate purchase orders, grouped per supplier. If that supplier has a connection with LogicTrade, the order goes straight into their system, including the configuration from the quote. If not, you send a PDF by email from the same screen. Either way, you do not have to retype anything.
The supplier's confirmation comes back with order number, purchase price and confirmed lead time. If that lead time differs from what you had assumed, you see it on the order line instead of somewhere in an inbox. That way you can inform the customer before they call you.
No. The status is attached to the order line, not to the order. The lines that have arrived move to ready for delivery and can be scheduled, the line that is still outstanding stays open against its own purchase order and its own week. You decide whether to deliver in parts or wait until everything is in.
In progress, ordered from supplier, ready for delivery, delivering today, in transit, partly delivered and delivered. In addition, the order itself keeps four indicators: allocation, logistics, financial and service. In the order overview you filter on those, for example on everything that has not been ordered yet.
Yes. Through CustomerAssist your customer tracks their own order, and on the day of delivery they see live where the delivery van is. That saves the phone calls asking where it has got to, and it is the same data you see in the back office.
It is the same chain. The quote becomes an order in one step, the configuration your salesperson put together travels along into the purchase order, and after delivery the order flows through to the invoice. There is no point at which anyone transfers data by hand.
Order management is included in LogicTrade from the Basic package onwards, from 239 euro per month. Planning and delivery and FieldAssist are in Pro and Premium respectively. During implementation we set up your order statuses, routes and supplier connections together with you.
Bring your trickiest order and we will walk through it live
In the demo we take a real order of yours with several suppliers and different lead times, and follow it from approval to delivery. Then you see exactly where things go wrong for you today.
